Cops and Robbers: minigame or full server?
Search for "Minecraft cops and robbers" and most results are maps and short prison-escape minigames. This is the other kind: a persistent city you can live in.

A night in Vice City

Join and pick a class. You start with $50,000. The first time you join, a menu asks who you want to be.

Work your angle. Arrest, rob, deliver, deal or invest. Your class is your job, your income and your toolkit.

Watch the stars. Every crime adds wanted stars, up to 5. At 4 stars and above police can pull your car over and cuff you.

Bank it before they catch you. Cash can be robbed. The bank can't. Death costs a slice of your wealth unless you carry Life Insurance.

The Law
Police officers patrol for pay, hand out tickets, cuff suspects and collect big arrest bonuses at 4 and 5 stars. Every cop is a real player with real backup.
The Outlaws
Pickpockets, kidnappers and hitmen live off the people around them. Rob banks, hold up stores, lockpick houses and keep one step ahead of the sirens.
The Hustlers
Dealers, a deliveryman, a car jacker and a patient zero run the city's black and grey markets. The legit business. Mostly.
The wanted-star system
Every crime adds stars and the stars decide how the police treat you. Low stars mean a ticket ($1,500 to $9,500). At 4 and 5 stars the police can cuff you and take you to jail: 5 min at 4★ with $7,500 bail, 7 min at 5★ with $12,500 bail. The officer who makes the arrest is paid $25,000 (4★) or $35,000 (5★).
Every player also glows by side: police blue, civilians white, and criminals from yellow to dark red as their wanted level climbs. Read the full wanted and police guide.
