The Vehicle Dealer
Buy at the NPC and the vehicle arrives as an item in your inventory. Hold it and right-click the ground to place it, right-click it to get in and sneak to get out.

The Airfield: planes and helicopters
Aircraft are the status symbol of the city, with prices to match.

Lock it, steal it, wreck it
- `/lk` locks your vehicle so only you can drive it (not even police). New vehicles start unlocked.
- Stealing: anyone can take an unlocked vehicle (it adds 1 wanted star). Only a Car Jacker can try a locked one, with a 60% chance.
- Damage: a civilian vehicle breaks in 2 sword hits or 4 arrows. Destroying someone else's adds 2 stars.
- Police pull-overs: at 4 stars or more, police can pull your car over and you're thrown out before they cuff you.
- Sell it back at a selling area for 50% of the shop price.
- A free city GPS (
/gps) draws a glowing trail along the streets to any destination.
Police have their own fleet
Officers buy pursuit cars, motorcycles and interceptors from the police garage, and police aviation can chase suspects from the sky. Police vehicles are tougher and a bit faster, so a getaway needs a plan. Full vehicles guide.

Minecraft vehicles server questions
Do I need mods to drive vehicles?
No mods. Join with a normal Java Edition client and accept the server resource pack, which makes the vehicles look like vehicles.
How fast can vehicles go?
Top speed is capped at 15 blocks a second. Civilian vehicles top out at 14.
Can I fly a plane or helicopter?
Yes. The Airfield sells light plane, helicopter, sport plane. Aircraft are expensive, so most players start with a car.
